Who We Are and What This Covers

Segue Living, LLC ("Segue Living," "we," "us," or "our") operates a platform that connects individuals looking for furnished co-living accommodations with available units (the "Platform"). Some units are offered by Segue Living or its affiliates, including National Corporate Housing. Others are offered by independent property owners who list their own units on the Platform ("Suppliers"). This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Platform, our website, and related communications. It does not cover the practices of Suppliers or third-party services that have their own privacy policies.

Information We Collect

Information you give us

When you create an account, apply for a unit, or communicate with us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, the contents of your messages, and information you provide in your application. If you sign a lease, we collect and maintain your lease and payment records.

Screening information

When you apply, screening is performed through our provider, Autohost, and its consumer reporting agency partners, including Equifax. The identity information needed to run a background and credit report, which may include your Social Security Number and a government-issued ID, is collected directly by the screening provider. Segue Living does not receive or store your Social Security Number. We receive the screening results needed to evaluate your application.

Payment information

Rent, deposits, and other charges are processed by our payment processor, Stripe. Your card or bank account number is handled by Stripe and is not stored in our systems.

Information collected automatically

When you use the Platform, we and our analytics and advertising partners automatically collect device and usage information, such as your IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and interactions, using cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. We may receive information about you from the screening provider, from a Supplier whose unit you apply for, from our payment processor, and from analytics and advertising partners.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Operate the Platform and your account.
• Process and evaluate your application, including background and credit screening.
• Facilitate a lease and collect rent and other charges.
• Communicate with you about your application, lease, and account, including by text message where you have consented.
• Send you marketing where permitted.
• Personalize and improve the Platform.
• Measure and support advertising.
• Protect against fraud and secure our systems.
• Comply with our legal obligations, including under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).

How We Share Your Information

Service providers

We share information with vendors that perform services for us, including screening (Autohost, Equifax), payments (Stripe), messaging and marketing (GoHighLevel), hosting and platform development (JBS Americas & Europe), and productivity and communications tools (Microsoft 365). They may use the information only to provide services to us.

Affiliates

We share information within our family of companies, including National Corporate Housing, to operate the Platform and provide accommodations.

Suppliers

If you apply for a unit offered by a Supplier, we share the information you submit for that unit, which may include your identity and screening results, with that Supplier solely so it can decide whether to accept your application. Suppliers are contractually required to keep that information confidential, use it only for the leasing decision, and securely destroy it afterward.

Advertising and analytics partners

We use third-party advertising and analytics technologies (for example, from Google and Meta) that may collect information about your activity across websites and over time to measure and deliver advertising. Depending on your state, this may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information, or "targeted advertising." See the Cookies and Opt-Out sections for how to opt out.

Legal and safety

We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, enforce our agreements, or protect the rights, safety, and property of Segue Living, our users, or others.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We do not sell your personal information for money.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Platform, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain advertising as described below. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control (GPC), where required by law.

Your Choices

• Text messages: reply STOP to any message to opt out of texts, or HELP for assistance. Opting out of marketing texts will not affect transactional messages about an active application or lease.
• Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
• Account information: you can review and update your account information by contacting us.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information; Targeted Advertising Opt-Out

You have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and of targeted advertising. To opt out, use the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link on our website, adjust your cookie preferences, or contact us at contact@segueliving.com. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) as a valid opt-out for the browser or device on which it is enabled. We will not discriminate against you for exercising this right.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights: to know and access the personal information we hold about you; to correct inaccurate information; to delete your information; to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising; to limit the use of certain sensitive personal information; and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. California residents have these rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the CPRA. Residents of other states may have similar rights under their own laws. To exercise a right, contact us at contact@segueliving.com. We will verify your request using information associated with your account, and we may ask for additional information to confirm your identity. You may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf, subject to verification. We will respond within the time your law requires. Sensitive information. Some information we process, such as a government-issued ID, is "sensitive." We use sensitive information only to provide the services you request, verify identity, complete screening, prevent fraud, and comply with law, and not to infer characteristics about you.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Platform, maintain your account and lease records, and meet our legal, tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. Records related to background and credit screening are retained for the period required by law and our internal policy, after which they are deleted or de-identified.

How We Protect Your Information

We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit and at rest, and isolation of the most sensitive data within specialized providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use it. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Services

The Platform relies on third-party services, including Stripe for payments and our screening providers. Your interactions with those services are governed by their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting the updated Policy on our website and updating the effective date above. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date means you accept the updated Policy.
