Getting started
Co-living is a modern form of housing where residents have their own private bedroom (sometimes with a private bathroom) and share common spaces like the kitchen, living room, and lounge with a small number of carefully vetted neighbors. At Segue Living, we furnish everything — so all you need is your suitcase.
We designed Segue Living for working professionals, remote workers, and people relocating to a new city. If you want a move-in ready, fully furnished home without the friction of a long-term lease, Segue Living is built for you.
We're currently live in 12+ US cities including New York, Chicago, Atlanta, Nashville, Charlotte, Boston, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., Denver, Seattle, Austin, and Miami — with more markets launching soon. Head to our Markets page for the full list.
No. Airbnb is short-term vacation rental. Segue Living is designed for monthly stays — your home, not a hotel. We offer flexible leases starting at 30 days, competitive monthly rates, and an active community of residents.
The home
Every bedroom comes fully furnished — bed with quality linens, dresser, desk, chair, closet space, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Common areas are stocked with kitchen essentials, cleaning supplies, and shared living furniture. All utilities are included.
Yes. Your monthly membership covers electricity, water, gas, high-speed Wi-Fi, and building amenities. There are no surprise bills.
Our homes come fully furnished and are designed as a complete space. We generally ask that you don't swap out furniture, but you can absolutely add personal touches — art, plants, rugs, desk accessories. Think of it as moving into a fully set-up home that you make your own.
Pet policies vary by property. Some homes are pet-friendly for cats or small dogs with an additional monthly pet fee. Filter for pet-friendly options when browsing homes, or contact us to ask about a specific address.
Membership & leases
Our minimum stay is 30 days. Beyond that, you can stay month-to-month or lock in a longer term for a better rate. There's no maximum — many members live with us for a year or more.
Pricing depends on the city, property, and room type. You can browse real-time availability and pricing for each home on our Find Homes page. Rates include all utilities and amenities — no hidden fees.
You'll submit a short application including ID verification and a brief background check — the same standard you'd expect from any quality apartment. Most applications are reviewed within 24–48 hours. Once approved, you choose your move-in date and sign your membership agreement online.
Yes, we collect a security deposit equivalent to one month's rent at signing. It is returned within 14 days of move-out, less any deductions for damages beyond normal wear and tear.
Extending is easy — just let us know and we'll update your agreement. Early terminations are handled case-by-case. Standard notice requirements and any early-termination fees are set out in your Membership Agreement.
Move-in & logistics
In most cases, you can move in within 7 days of approval — sometimes same week. We know that relocation timelines can be tight, so we've built the process to be as quick as possible.
Just your personal belongings and clothes. The home is fully furnished and every utility is set up. We recommend checking your specific home listing for any property-specific notes, but you will never need to buy a bed frame or wait for an internet installation.
Submit a maintenance request through your member portal and our team will be on it. For urgent issues, you'll have a direct contact for your property. We aim to resolve non-urgent requests within 48 hours.
Community
Every resident goes through the same application and ID verification process. Our community skews toward working professionals — people who are respectful, tidy, and looking for a home environment, not a party house.
Yes. We organize occasional events for members across each city — think rooftop dinners, career mixers, or city exploration walks. Participation is always optional. We also have a private member community where you can connect with residents in your building and across cities.
